Here Goes Nothing

I'm afraid...I'm very afraid. Oh wait...I don't need to be afraid...ever again...because look what the dentist got me for Valentine's Day. It comes with lessons on how to use it.

As tomorrow is the anniversary of the Constitution I think it's a good time to let you know that the dentist takes his right to bear arms very seriously. Apparently he wants me to take it seriously as well.

I'm thinking an appropriate gift for him might be a first aid kit for when I miss the target and accidently shoot his foot.

very brave, hermana! I can only imagine what Mr. Woolley will have to say! This could be fun....don't you think? I think the first aide kit is a great idea!

I love the first aid kit idea! And I also love the idea of you having and knowing how to use a gun.

I know...I'm a pessimist.

Sweet! I like first aid kits. I also think you should go to a shooting range - or buy him a bunch of bullets, or ORRR (oh this is good, worth waiting for) a squirt gun. I tiny little green plastic squirt gun. Brilliant!!!

I can't wait to see pictures of you using this bad boy...mmmhmmm!

But at least you commented Lewie! And I'm right there with you...

"You're killin' me Smalls!". You've officially pushed me over the edge with hysterical laughter....

Go for the first aid kit. I'll swing you a deal.

Mr. Thompson...who vehemently stays away from blogs came running when I choked out "gun" amid all my laughter. He read your blog (won't even read my own!)...and is very impressed by your dentist. I believe he said, "That's an expensive little number. He must really like her. What a good idea!"

I swear...if I get a gun for Valentine's day...I'm going to blame it on you and your dentist!

Everyone should exercise their second amendment rights at least once in their lifetime.

Note to Wally the Dentist: I think you need to refine the gift a little. A gun is an excellent choice for Valentine’s Day. A hand gun even better. Its elegant without being precocious. Subtle, but not shy. And it’s shiny. Girls like shiny.

However, you really should look into a concealed gun permit, instead of just lessons. Girls like to flash their lip stick smile, show their nails, prance around in a new dress, change shoes three times a day. They also like their weapons under cover. It gives them a sense of security without being sassy. A concealed weapon adds a feminine touch to any wardrobe. Its a gentle, but firm accesory. Provocative, but not egotistical. And it’s so Noelle. Get the concealed gun permit and you will win her over for sure.

Note to Noelle: put the safety on honey. You’re gonna shot yourself in the foot. I know it. I just know it.

Happy Valentine's Day Massacre to you both. This is the only other gun infested Valentine's Day I can recall. There's even photos: http://www.mysterynet.com/vdaymassacre/

Dave, I was already signed up for the concealed weapons class, thus the gun. :)

And we (all who read this blog) would never call you inept.

That my dear friend, is why I asked Woolley to be my EFF. The guy cracks me up...

(added to the fact that he too posted his comment twice on accident. Thus the deleted comment from me too...)

Are you kiddin me?! He gave you a gun! Do you dare to hold it? I think all the guy wants for V Day is some action. You know what I mean. Give the guy some lovin'.

KT said...

I agree that some action for V-day wouldn't be a bad thing. But if now is not the time, how about some chocolate chip cookies, first aid kit, and a 16x24 framed photo of you??

It is worth getting on your blog simply to read the comments.

What I want is to see David find a frame that big.
