A Post Full of Stuff

I think you should know something...

Just when I got used to sleeping in the same bed as a boy he up and left me...for six whole weeks.

He will be gone almost as long as we've been married.

Do you feel sorry for me?

He will miss the wedding of my LOVELY and BEAUTIFUL and AMAZINGLY TALENTED sister:

He will miss the birth of their little brother:

Here's hoping he will miss me.

*SIGH*

BUT...I'll be okay because I have awesome sisters...

One of them sent me these:

(not cause Jason's leaving...just cause she loves me)

And another gave me this:

Once, when Baby Sister was living in Brazil, we instant messaged a lot...a lot, a lot.

And sometimes she had to be quiet because the parents would be asleep and she was up super late...

It was then she coined "LIQ" (laughing in quiet). Well who knows...maybe she didn't coin it...but maybe she did too.

She filled her homemade mug with all of my favorite goodies...

Not because Jason is leaving...but because it's Mothers Day soon.

Oh...and because I'm not a mother yet she gave it to me two days early...

Jason asked me last night what good things would come from his being gone.

I had one answer:

"I can work longer hours."

But let's be real...is that a good thing?

I think it would make me feel better if everyone who reads my blog left me a comment.

I'm just sayin'...

Well the wind stopped and the sun is shining...no more blogging nonsense...I've got a million things to do.

Come back on Monday...I've got something GREAT in store!!!

You've got a busy 6 weeks and some amazing sisters.

I'm glad you're loved.

And yes, we do feel bad for you.

It sucks to have your snuggle buddy gone. Scott was gone for a week (yeah, just one week, I'm a wimp), and I had to make a nest of pillows to make it feel like I wasn't alone in our big bed.

Hopefully all the family functions will make the time pass quickly!

Sisters are wonderful! I have 5!

Hope this 6 weeks flies by really really fast.

Don't work too hard. Hubby doesn't need an exhausted wife when he comes home. ;o)

The flowers are really beautiful! I think the one great thing about Jason being gone in May and part of June is that he is gone in May and part of June. You won't have much time to miss him cause you'll be too busy rubbing aloe on your arms and neck.

Being away is hard, but coming back together will be so nice! What great sisters you have.

Regarding the previous post-

SUNSCREEN!: Sunburns hurt and Cancer bites. We all know this, just a reminder.

On to the current post-

You and your sisters are funny girls. If I was in a library or had a sleeping babe at home I would be LIQ. That is not the case so I'm LWG (laughing with gusto)

Oh, and what month is nine months after 6 weeks from now? Just curious :) Homecomings are so nice.

All I can say is that I admire you, and I admire your husband! It's a HUGE sacrifice being made for others.

You can bank those hours, and when he gets back, withdraw them and spend every one on him whenever possible!
I wish the time to go quickly for you!

You know I'm going to leave you a comment, baby.

Here's to a happy, Blessed Pre-Mother's day. For all your mothers days to come.

And sisters are just the best. I have 3 of them. And oftentimes, when we're together people have remarked that they sometimes feel like they're intruding on our world. And we don't mean to make them feel that way. It's just when we're together we slide into this symbiosis of sisterhood and it's like we're still sleeping in the same beds at night, again. There is nothing like a sister.

Hope your days fly by before your man gets home.

Here i am! Just saying because you called us all. I LOVE the mug. I was eyeing it even before i read about the Laughing In Quiet thing. Cute coffee mugs make me go weak in the knees.

When is amazing sister getting married? Congratulations! I feel like family. I ought to know this stuff!

Little kid coming too! Double congratulations!

I see Little Sister and you bond just like my big sister and me. Brilliantly cute to gift you for Mother's Day. This girl is giving me ideas!

Cover yourself up AFTER you smother yourself in sunscreen before you step out.

Wish Jason a safe journey. He is BOUND to come sooner just because he'll miss you too much.

You stay good. Don't over-work. Enjoy the pre-wedding jitters with your sis. Are you'll going to make another quilt now that she's getting married? Just asking. I remember starting to read your blog around that time.

Be good! Enjoy your day. hugs.

after having my husband gone for 10 months (with two more to go), i can now say that 6 weeks is absolutely NOTHING. nothing.

BUT. when we were first married he had to go for a weekend. little did i know how easy that was going to be in comparison to my current life. fill your time up, work long hours if you want (without evil russian truck drivers), hang out with the girls, because when they come home.....it is truly wonderful. and this is coming from someone who KNOWS. :)
