One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other

Dear Becca,

When it rains at your place of employment, it's muddy.
Really really muddy.
You've worked here for 15 + years.
One would think you would have figured this out by now.
Your shoes have no place here.
Please notice the shoe choice of your co-workers.
If you need me to, I'll be happy to go shoe shopping with you.

With Great Love and Adoration,

But maybe she loves the feel of icky mud squishing up through her socks. Ok, ick.

I'm on Becca's side, I admit. I wear sandals ALL the time. I've even worn them in the snow, much to my husband's dismay.

Besides, mud is just an excuse to go BAREFOOT!!!!!

Hello from Becca's World of Inappropriate Shoe Choices, where I am just happy if I'm wearing two matching shoes while at work. The occasional slipper might have made its way into an important meeting (I was pregnant... I'm not embarrassed to blame the baby). I consider it a step up from Shan's Incompletely Dressed at Work Universe (a place I continue to pop into... or out of, as the case may be... periodically).

Did she take you up on your offer?
How about a cute pair of rain boots?

Working in mud, I think I'd go straight for some of those cute Wellies boots!
