Another update

Baby Sister again

I went back and read all of your comments and just cried and cried at the support and love and faith and prayers that are going out to my sister and her hubby and their little one

Thank you so so so so so much

I'm giving you another update...Noelle didn't tell me to do this one, so I hope she won't mind

The valve that we've all been praying would grow big enough hasn't done that

Emily will have to have surgery within the next few days where they'll put in the shunt, and then in 6 months they'll do a surgery to fix it

Noelle still hasn't been able to hold Emily (that's that last I have heard anyway), and has only been able to hold her hand

Our parents went up to be with them and help comfort Noelle and keep her company, as she is understandably having a hard time

We all have the faith that what the Lord wants will happen, but, at least for me, it's been really hard to see her tiny body and think of them performing surgery on that poor little girl

And then I think of all the other people that have had to/are going through the same thing, and my heart hurts even more

But, it will all turn out okay

Thank you for your continued prayers on behalf of this sweet little girl

And I will let you know when I know anything else

Here's what I see, when I look at that picture. I see a beautiful, plump girl and I feel that sweet girl is a fierce warrior who will come through this with flying colors. I feel this so strongly in my heart.

Noelle, I love you, darling girl. My prayers are with you. Be brave and strong. Soon that sweet little girl will be right where she needs to be, in your arms at home, a happy little family.

I'm praying hard for sweet Emily. Not that she needs it, she's going to do this. Just wait and see.

We're very grateful to read all you have to say, Amanda- thank you.

I am praying, too. I'm glad Noelle met Emily- that's good news. Can't wait to see this kid running about hale and hearty with Trouble.

xoxo

I agree with Joann. My family has been praying for your family for months and months. We have been praying even harder the past few days and feel such a tremendous power when we pray for Emily.

Emily is a fierce warrior and her spirit has brought many people together. Noelle, my heart aches for you and Jason that you can't hold her right now. We love you and hope she will be in your arms soon.

I see the same thing...a strong, strong girl. She's a fighter! Miracles can happen and there can be a million little things that work together to make everything work out.

I feel like everything will go well and be just fine. You are the person to nurture your little girl through healing.

I've been praying for you all and especially that you girls will have strong hearts...and you both DO!

Love you! Alison (Whiting) Flake

I see an angel! An angel sent to you Noelle! She is beautiful and strong and a fighter! Just look at how big she is. She fought hard to gain enough weight to be healthy enough for her surgeries!

Heavenly Father picked her parents out special for her! I know this is so hard, but just remember, you were hand picked for this job by Emily and her Maker!

LOVE and STRENGTH coming your way!!

She is breathtaking.. praying for her little heart and I still believe that God's time is not always our time.. He can move mountains anytime, even in the midst of a surgery. Could you imagine being a surgeon and watching a hole close and you did nothing to make it that way... talk about an awesome testimony to the power of the God we know.. sending mom and Emily so much love.

I look at this beautiful picture and I see her mom and dad. She is love...because they are love. She'll have strength...because they have strength.

I don't think I've ever prayed this hard. Love you Hermanita and I can't wait to meet this little angel.

i find that i do better with DOING something for people rather than saying something, as what i say sounds incredibly lame and stupid. so if i were around, imagine that i would bring you dinner at some point, listen to whatever you needed to say, bring you whatever treats you wanted, bring some flowers, laugh with you at the size of the pads they make you wear after you have a c-section, then go buy you some that don't feel like you're wearing a diaper, and then cry with you.

lots of prayers in your direction.....

Oh hon ... I've done nothing but keep you in my heart all day.
I have a sister whose had two babies with serious issues; best advice, rest when you can, and take everything with a grain of salt - hold on to hope and love; blame no one, especially yourself - you've done wonderful the both of you!
Thank you sis for the update, I hope you keep it up. ;)
Let Noelle and Jason know we're pulling for them, and calling on every angel we can think of. Sending little Emily blessings of strength and courage. Little girls are tough - ask any doctor. She looks like a warrior princess if I ever saw one. Hang in there baby girl! xoxo

I love that she is flexing those muscles to show us her strength! So, AWESOME!!!

Much love to you all!
