What a precious sight! SHE'S OKAY!! SHE'S A TROOPER, even almost Godlike in that second picture. All things considered, I think it's perfect you laughed.

So relieved for you and keeping the prayers going!

Praying BIG...cause GOD IS BIGGER...(remember- we talked about this) :)

I chuckled a little at the second pic...but I think it was because you said you laughted!

I am glad the nurses love Emily...that is a comforting feeling to know you baby is not just a number.

Love you all BUNCHES

Heck no. I think it is freaking cute. It's one of those that 10 years from now you will look at and still laugh.. She looks like she is sunbathing. cute, cute cute

Nope... It looks like she's thinking, "Ugh...." A diva indeed. I love her.

And is good you can still find humor in things my friend :)

She seems so alert in that first picture! She still looks like she's going through hell, but after all, heart surgery isn't a walk in the park. So all things considered, you go Emily! I can't wait for her to go home with you guys. She needs to see her beautiful room!

My heart smiles when mommies and daddies laugh lovingly at and with their children. Especially when they do it together.

Smiling hearts, hugs, and prayers!

Just so you know, I have teenage girls who look like that when they're outside sunning.

Through everything she's gone through in her short little tim here on Earth, I think little Emily looks amazing and vibrant. Go, Emily, Go!

Chillin like only a baby can.
Poor thing, she's been through so much, but she looks AMAZING for what she's just been through; she really is a warrior princess.
Heart surgery in the morning, spa by noon; Jeeves, I would like dinner promptly at 6 please.

Glad to see everyone is doing well. :) Laughing at some of the insanity is a good sign; proof that life is finding footing in a new normal, and that hope is still rising with the sun.

Woo-hoo Emily!

I agree with several of the other commenters, she looks very diva! You're gonna have your hands full once you get her home, she's oozing spirit already!

Oh my gosh! in that first picture she looks exactly like you! She is beautiful and strong - just like her momma. sending prayers up for y'all...

Glad she came through well.

I have been thinking about you all weekend! I just read your last post about seeing a therapist and I agree! I went in when my twins were 4 months old and I finally let me brain process all that had happened. The therapist said I had PTSD and I was shocked so you're already one step ahead of me. If you want her number let me know. She changed my life! and she's close (Orem).

Anyway lots of love and prayers and she's beautiful!

Good afternoon Noelle. Just got back from the BWCA and had to catch up ... just before I left Amanda updated me so I knew what was happening. Baby Emily is so, so very beautiful, just like her mama and daddy. I am very proud of you all. God Blessings to you all. You have such a fantastic family too. All will be good.

Noelle, I saw on Eliza's blog that your sweet little Emily had been born & had her surgery. Bless your heart...I can only imagine what you're going through. Nothings harder for a parent than to see their child struggle. You will all be in our thoughts & prayers!!! All our best!!
