I'm Going To Take Over My Mommy's Blog

Dear Everyone...Again,

Why do people keep doing things to me?
I don't do anything...I just take naps with my binky elephant and smile when people say smile.
If I don't get a long vacation from medical issues one of these days I'm no longer going to be the happy, peaceful baby you think I am.

And plus, I'm almost not a baby anymore.
Watch out when that happens because as soon as I can run, you can bet I won't sit still for things like needles, and ... stuff.

Thanks for listening.

Love, Em

PS. Remember when my mommy told you that she was not going to dress me in pink all the time?
Did you see the helmet?
She didn't stand her ground very well did she.

PPS.  How do these people think I'm going to be able to hold my head up with this thing I have to wear?

I've had a rough week.
Anyone want to take me to Disneyland?

Oh, I'll take you to Disneyland, Emily!

You are such a beautiful girl! You even make that pink helmet look super cute! I'm sorry people keep poking you and stuff. Life isn't very nice sometimes.

Also, tell your mommy that you want me to come over and play while she takes your daddy out on a do-over anniversary date.

Oh my gosh, she looks adorable. Not too many people can make a helmet into a fashion accessory - Emily is rockin' that look!

I hope the adjustment period is short and smooth (I bet it will be!)

All best ... Leslie in CA

Girl....put some leather on and get your little self on a Harley! You are adorable!
I can't wait to see you run away from the doctors. You go girl! Love you.

Hi Noelle! So sorry. I've been out of town and writing and blaa, blaa, blaa. But I'm all caught up now on your blog. I hope the stomach feeding tube is working well. My aunt actually has one and says it's miraculous compared to the regular feeding tube.

And that little sweetheart rocks a helmet! And if you're going to have a helmet, it should definitely be pink! No one should ever ban pink. Ahem.

Oh, and what fun we'll have watching Miss Em toddle around. You go Em! You are the ultimate warrior girl. You've got a pink helmet to prove it.

Oh Em ... I'm sure my daughter Morgan could swap some stories with you about what your going through! when she was your age--having to go thru open-heart surgery--her little heels had been poked so many time they were black and blue. She's 31 now and hasn't been poked and prodded in years. Keep your chin up!

Blessings.

As far as helmets go...that one isn't so bad! She looks pretty cute in it...I think little miss would look cute in about anything!

Hope the helmet does it job quickly!

Oh my word, is it wrong that I think she looks adorable? It's probably 'cause she's got the cutest face ever.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with you. Also, I meant to send little Miss Em a REAL note... and... I freaking misplaced your address. I suck.

Also, Happy Anniversary!

Now that is a cute helmet! I wish Hazel's helmets could have been as cute.

I can't take you to Disneyland, but I could give you and your family a rather inconvenient place to stay (about and hour or so from the happiest place on earth).

I love your new helmet, Miss E. Smashing! And the tummy tube ain't so bad either! (For me... the person who just admires your photos, I know...).

Hugs!
