The Girl Came Back

Hello my girl! I'm still here, just buried in words and trying to make them fit right. I love your crayon posts. They make me smile and bring me back to days when there was such a comfort in coloring. I might just have to start up that hobby again.

Your story made me cry. And made me miss my dad. Actually, I miss him every day. You were blessed to have such a sweet relationship with your grandpa. I wish my girls had had more time with my dad. He loved them so much.

Oh well. I'm glad to see Emily is doing well. I'm often here checking on you and this place of yours and that sweet girl of yours, always, always make me smile.

Eventually I'll want to see an Emily original in this style.

It was a lovely story. I am so glad that the thought of cheering someone else brought The Girl back. A lesson in how much giving service helps us too.
