The Girl Has Nothing To Say

The girl thought of a story.
But the telling of the story required something the girl can't find.
She spent 30 minutes looking for it.
And by the time 30 minutes had passed, the girl was tired.
And ready to crawl into bed.

In the process of looking for the something, the girl found something else.
The girl realizes that it might not mean much to anyone but herself...
...she'll post it anyway.

The girl has an uncle.
An uncle who has given her many nicknames throughout her life.

-The Evil and Blubberous Narwall of the Great Deep
(the girl was not such a fan)
-Wonder Pony
-Nurse Ernwell name a few...

One day - during the girl's Wonder Pony phase, she found this note from her uncle:

The girl has kept this note on the inside of her journal.
Somehow, in some way, it's incredibly inspiring to the girl...
...and when the girl needs a lift she reads this note.

The girl is grateful to the people in her life who give her 'lifts' whenever she needs them.
And that includes all of you.
Happy Weekend!

1. I must concur on the Steven Tyler observation, although I'm not a big American Idol fan.

2. I'm anxious to hear/see how the coiffure goes.

3. I recognize that handwriting! Gordon is a good man. What a sweet uncle.

I have had an obsession with Steven Tyler since Jr. High. He's awesome. I remember I about cried when I saw Aerosmith in concert because it had been a dream of mine. I TOTALLY agree he is the best thing to happen to American Idol!!!!

The girl may not think she has anything to say, but she always says something cute and entertaining. Love your comment on my blog the other day - Oh I'm feeling fat...but I have a feeling it's going to get worse before it gets better. ;)

That fat feeling was the best I ever had - enjoy it girly.

I'm with you on Steven Tyler. In fact, I like Jennifer Lopez a lot, too. I never disliked either one of them, but I appreciate them both in different ways now.

Your uncle is fabulous!

Gees Louise no pressure. I hope I don't get nervous and swear a lot or botch your hair or give bad unsolicited advice.

Wonderful post, Noelle! You know I love it when you do the printing thing with markers! What a sweet note from your uncle.

I had some bleeding when I was pregnant, and it also turned out to be nothing to worry about. I know I was scared, though.

I'm with the Girl. Steven Tyler rocks my world.
And the girl's uncle is a very wise man. I'd keep that note too, for life.

Hubby and I were just talking about how much we're enjoying Steven Tyler on AI this season. In fact, I'm going to pick up an Aerosmith CD for Hubby for Valentine's Day. Love the note from your Uncle. This would be the fascinating Uncle that performs in the circus jumping off the high dive into the tiny pool below?
